Behaviour Consultations
Designed to help you address unwanted behaviour, these consultations dig deep into specific issues you are having with your dog.
Targeted support to improve behaviour and quality of life
Unlike training classes or one-to-one training, which is about teaching your dog a series of cues or commands like sit, leave, come, behaviour consultations are about stopping or altering an already established behaviour. For example lunging, jumping up, stealing food, digging, and attention seeking.
If your dog has a behavioural issue that needs modifying, then this is where our behavioural consultations come in.
Modifying behaviours can be a relatively straightforward process or they can be extremely complex. Much depends on the nature of the problem, and how long the unwanted behaviour has been reinforced.
As the training undertaken in the behaviour consultation is purely designed to deal with altering/stopping unwanted behaviours, you will then have the option of continuing to work with me in regard to general obedience training on either a 1-2-1 basis on a class format. Any additional training after the second consultation will be charged separately.
